STURM audio is a standalone electronic music instrument designed for creating patterns, shaping sound and exploring ideas without the complexity of a traditional DAW.

At its core is a simple principle: powerful tools should remain direct to use.

Sequencing, sound design and live interaction come together in one focused environment. Program patterns, work with samples and acid synthesis, create variations and manipulate sequences while they are running. USB MIDI output allows STURM audio to sequence external hardware as part of the same workflow.

STURM AUDIO combines sample-based sound design and acid synthesis with a dedicated synthesized Drum Engine, generating its drum voices in real time without samples. Per-step sound design makes it possible to shape individual hits while keeping their variations connected to the instrument’s main controls.

Sample Capture can record audio directly from a browser tab or shared screen, including YouTube playback where supported by the browser and operating system. Captured audio is loaded directly into STURM audio, ready to trim, shape and sequence without a separate recording and import process.

Only capture and use audio that you own or have permission to use. Browser and system support may vary.

The interface follows the same philosophy. Information remains clear and precise while the instrument itself feels raw, physical and uncompromising.
